Heather Altieri

Heather is responsible for shaping and leading the People strategy at HealthVerity in support of the company’s mission and continued growth. In this role, she oversees all aspects of talent acquisition, organizational development, talent management, employee experience, and total rewards to ensure HealthVerity attracts, develops, and engages exceptional talent.

Heather brings nearly twenty years of human resources leadership experience in scaling and supporting startup, high-growth, and mature organizations across the healthcare technology and financial services sectors.  Prior to joining HealthVerity, she led the People function at Patina, helping to build the company from its early stages in support of its mission to improve the healthcare and aging experience for older adults. Previously, she spent nearly a decade in HR leadership at Accolade, where she supported the company’s scale from 150 to more than 2,200 employees through multiple phases of growth and a successful IPO. She began her HR career at The Hartford, supporting the Wealth Management business through a variety of strategic initiatives during a period of significant transformation.

Heather holds an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources from Saint Joseph’s University and a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University. She lives outside Philadelphia with her husband and four children, where they are in the process of restoring an old farmhouse and embracing the joys (and challenges) of a bit of farm life.
